Inspecta Sertifiointi Oy has awarded Nurminen Logistics certificates for their quality, environmental and occupational health and safety systems. The certificates apply to Nurminen’s customs clearance, forwarding and freight services, wagon operation, round wood handling, and terminal services including material handling, storage and value-added services, as well as special and project transportation services. Certificates have been granted to the following Nurminen offices: Hamina, Helsinki, Imatra, Jyväskylä, Kotka, Luumäki, Niirala, Rauma, Turku, Vaalimaa, Vainikkala and Vartius. A follow-up assessment is performed annually.

Quality System: ISO 9001:2008
Environmental System: ISO 14001:2004
Occupational Health and Safety: OHSAS 18001:2007
Nurminen Logistics’ terminals have been assessed according to the SQAS system (Packaged Warehouse) in 2013.
The SQAS (Safety and quality assessment) developed by CEFIC (European Chemical Industry Council) seeks to provide CEFIC member companies detailed information on the service providers’ management standards and their development.
The SQAS assesess e.g. warehouse structures and safety technology, environmental and safety management systems, the commitment of the management to these systems, occupational safety, product safety and IT security. A follow-up assessment is performed every three years.
The Finnish Customs has awarded Nurminen Logistics an AEOF certificate, which entitles the company to simplified customs procedures in the entire EU.
AEO (Authorised Economic Operator) is a global initiative that seeks to improve the security of international supply chains.
An AEO actor is a company that has received a Finnish Customs security certificate for its customs and logistics operations and is therefore entitled to benefits in the entire EU.
