Established in 1998, Coil-Tainer Limited is an American based company that has revolutionised transport by sea of large and heavy steel coils. The company invented purpose-made pallets that speed up the loading and unloading of steel coils into and out of shipping containers.

M-real is best known as the market leader in Europe for lightweight bending chip, but its products are also widely sold all around the world. Because its bending chip production facilities are located in Finland, supply chain management is an important part of M-real’s business operations.

Metso is a global supplier of technology and related services, whose customers work in mining and excavation industry, power generation, oil and gas industry, recycling and pulp and paper industry. Metso Corporation and Nurminen Logistics have an operative agreement for special domestic transports. Behind the agreement is a long history of cooperation with Metso’s various business units.

Forest industry group Metsäliitto has continuous access to 162 of Nurminen Logistics' woodchip and stanchion wagons. The wagons are used to transport woodchips and round wood from Russia to the Group's Finnish production facilities and also in domestic transport in Russia. Metsäliitto first began using wagons owned by Nurminen Logistics in 2002.

Nurminen Logistics has been in partnership with Teboil for over three decades.  Teboil imports low-sulphur diesel, basic oils for lubricants and liquid gas by rail to Finland from Russia and Nurminen Logistics handles the forwarding of these import products.

The Mantsinen Group Ltd Oy located in North Karelia near Joensuu manufactures material handling machinery and harbour cranes. Nurminen Logistics has provided Mantsinen with transportation services for several years.

The 26.5-metre diameter of one load to be transported presented new challenges to Nurminen Logistics when the company moved four former oil containers approximately a kilometre closer to the shore in Oulu’s Vihreäsaari.
