The Organisation of Nurminen Logistics

John Nurminen Oy’s Board of Directors has decided that Nurminen Logistics Oyj, the listed company to commence its operations in January 2008, will be divided into three business units: Nurminen Cargo, Nurminen Heavy and Nurminen Care. The Management Group will consist of Lasse Paitsola, President and CEO, as well as Kaj Kulp, Petteri Pelkonen, Antti Sallila and Harri Vainikka.

Nurminen Cargo will contain John Nurminen’s current Rail Services, Cargo Handling and Value-Added Services and Customs Clearance Services. There will be no changes in the current Special and Heavy Transports Unit, except for its name being changed to Nurminen Heavy. Health Care Logistics will be named Nurminen Care.

The current Business Unit Director, Mr. Harri Vainikka will be elected member of the Executive Board of the company. Mr. Vainikka will be responsible for Nurminen Cargo. In the Executive Board, Mr. Petteri Pelkonen will continue to be responsible for Nurminen Heavy and Nurminen Care. Mr. Kaj Kulp will be responsible in the Executive Board for M&A and investments. The titles of Mr. Vainikka, Mr. Pelkonen and Mr. Kulp will be Senior Vice President. Other members
of the Executive Board will be Mr. Lasse Paitsola (President and CEO) and Mr. Antti Sallila (CFO) who will take up his duties as CFO on 1 December 2007. Kenneth Huomo, John Nurminen´s present Director of Administration and member of the Management Group, will transition into a Board position in the new John Nurminen that will not be included in the public company.

In Nurminen Cargo, the managerial duties will be divided geographically: Olli Väätäinen will be responsible for southern operations, i.e., Kotka, Hamina, Vuosaari and Hakkila, as well as all current operations of Customs Clearance Services. Risto Miettinen will be in charge of eastern operations, i.e., Niirala, Vartius, Joensuu, Imatra, Luumäki, Vainikkala, Vaalimaa and Nuijamaa. Jorma Kervinen will be at the helm of the operations in Russia and the other CIS countries.

Rauno Pietilä, the present Director of Customs Clearance Services, will be responsible for the development of these same services in Nurminen Cargo and report to Harri Vainikka.

Tapani Raunio, the present Director of Cargo Handling and Value-Added Services, will transition into the position of Director of Real Estate in the new John Nurminen. He will thus be in charge of, among other things, the completion of the Vuosaari logistics centre real estate project.
