Nurminen Logistics Plc started its operation                                    

The strategy of the new listed company is characterised by innovativeness and growth-orientedness. The company aims to increase its turnover significantly.   

Nurminen Logistics was created on 1 January 2008 when John Nurminen Oy split up. The new listed company provides and produces high-quality logistics services that enhance our customers´ competitiveness in Finland, the Baltic Sea region, Russia and other CIS countries. It aims to significantly grow its turnover through investments and company acquisitions and strives for at least a 14% annual return on its investment.                                                

The operation of Nurminen Logistics is divided into three business units: Nurminen Cargo, Nurminen Heavy and Nurminen Care. Nurminen Cargo offers rail transports, terminal services and forwarding; Nurminen Heavy offers special and heavy transports and Nurminen Care offers medical transports.               


There are five members on the Board of Directors of Nurminen Logistics Plc:

  •  President and CEO Lasse Paitsola (President, CEO)
  • CFO Antti Sallila
  • Senior Vice President Kaj Kulp (restructurings and investments)
  • Senior Vice President Petteri Pelkonen (Nurminen Heavy and Nurminen Care)
  • Senior Vice President Harri Vainikka (Nurminen Cargo)

Nurminen Logistics Oy´s listing took place by transferring a part of the business operation of the divided John Nurminen Oy to Kasola Plc. The transaction took place on 1 January 2008 when the name of Kasola Plc was changed to Nurminen Logistics Plc.
