Finland’s largest and most modern cargo harbour was opened in Vuosaari in November 2008. At the same time, Nurminen Logistics began serving their customers in the harbour’s logistics area, where a full-service logistics “department store” was opened.
The staff of Nurminen Logistics’ Vuosaari location moved to the new premises in October 2008. The employees came from the Hakkila location and the metropolitan area’s sales organisation.

Some of the terminal operations and forwarding remain at the Hakkila location. Nurminen Logistics has outsourced the terminal operations at Hakkila to Suomen Transval Oy. Work supervision at Hakkila will continue to be the responsibility of Nurminen Logistics.
