John Nurminen Oy has signed a precontract with the Helsinki Harbour Board. According to the contract, the Port of Helsinki will lease to John Nurminen an area of 7.5 hectares in the Vuosaari Harbour Centres logistics area, where John Nurminen will build in stages a logistics centre of 40,000 m2.
This project is an important step in the company’s strategy of
expansion and gives an excellent opportunity to add and diversify the
service supply of cargo handling and value-added services.
Planning of the building project is well on its way and the target is
to finish the first stage when the Vuosaari harbour is completed in
November 2008.
