We provide logistics that reduce emissions and increase efficiency

We help customers reduce transport-related emissions without compromising reliability or performance. By prioritising rail and continuously improving operational efficiency, we lower the carbon footprint of freight flows while maintaining cost competitiveness.
Sustainable logistics is built on measurable impact and continuous improvement.

APPROACH

Our approach to sustainability

Our rail-first model, strong safety culture and responsible governance shape how we operate and create value. Environmental, social and governance principles guide our decisions, operations and long-term development.

Environment

Environment

Less impact, more efficiency

We measure our annual carbon footprint across Scope 1, 2 and 3 in accordance with the GHG Protocol and continuously enhance data quality.

We reduce emissions by improving operational efficiency, increasing load factors and minimising empty runs. By prioritising rail transport, we support lower-emission logistics while preventing pollution and reducing waste.

Social

Social

People power logistics

Safety is the foundation of our operations across terminals and partners. Clear responsibilities, shared standards and fair working practices guide our value chain.

We invest in training and continuous development, and we are committed to equal opportunities and an inclusive workplace where everyone can develop and succeed.

governance

Governance

Trust, transparency, integrity

We conduct our business responsibly and transparently, supported by clear policies and defined accountability. We comply with applicable laws and regulations and expect ethical conduct across our operations and value chain.

Strong governance enables us to manage risks, safeguard integrity and build long-term trust with customers, partners and employees.

Our progress

We focus our sustainability efforts where they matter most

In 2024, we completed a double materiality assessment aligned with the CSRD framework. It helps us prioritise the sustainability topics that have the greatest impact, both on society and on our business.

RAIL FIRST

Logistics that support
climate targets

Our solutions help customers meet environmental commitments by
shifting cargo to cleaner transport modes and eliminating unnecessary steps. Together, we improve performance across the logistics chain and build a more sustainable industry.

Rail cuts CO₂ and increases capacity—helping you move more with fewer emissions while supporting Scope 3 targets. Compare the difference yourself and talk to one of our experts to see what rail can do for your supply chain.

RAIL-first approach

Road

50 wagons in one train
Scale without adding complexity

50 wagons = 50 trucks
More vehicles, more coordination, higher cost

Runs on rail infrastructure

Less affected by road traffic and congestion

Affected by external factors
Traffic, incidents and bottlenecks affect lead times

High-capacity linehaul
Ideal for high-volume flows and peak seasons

Scaling can be costly
Capacity constrained by drivers and road congestion

Typically lower CO₂ per tonne-km
Supports Scope 3 reduction targets

Typically higher CO₂ per tonne-km
Trucks make it harder to reach Scope 3 targets
