A new rail route from China, Chongqing
Our fast and reliable railway connections from China to Nordic countries are expanding. With our Hefei route being well established, we are launching a new route from Chongqing to meet the continuing growing demand. The first departure from Chongqing is the 28th of September.

In Finland PFC Nordic and boXshipping Join Forces With Nurminen Logistics
PFC Nordic Finland and boXshipping Finland have been acquired by Nurminen Logistics Services Oy and will work within Nurminen Logistics brand as of 1.4.2020. Nurminen Logistics has owned both businesses since 1.8.2019. The change will only affect operations in Finland.

Nurminen Logistics Develops China Cargo Train Services
The actions to prevent COVID-19 from spreading, that begun in February in China and have now reached Europe, have had a larger impact on the flight and maritime freight and especially on passenger traffic than they have had on rail freight. For some routes, this has meant a change from skies to rails.

Train from China to Finland in Record Time
In these times of challenges for international supply chains, Nurminen Logistics’ Chinese train from Hefei to Helsinki traveled at record speed in eleven days. While the air and maritime operators struggle with significant challenges, the rail freight operators have been able to run their operations almost as usual. Ease of movement in China is increasing and limitations for traveling are being reduced, which enables unraveling of transport and booking congestions within the country.
